The Role of Technology in Teledentistry Triage

Teledentistry triage networks are a great way for insurance companies to offer their members 24/7 emergency visits. Patients will have quicker and more efficient access to care, dramatically reducing the amount of ER visits for dental related emergencies. While the idea of a teledentistry triage network may seem pretty straight forward, managing the technology and patient routing can become a technical challenge. In this presentation we will discuss how teledentistry software is evolving to make teledentistry triage easier to manage. From on-demand appointments to prescription management, technology can ultimately help improve access to care.
