Beware of Attendee List Scams

You may receive emails and inquires about how you can purchase the CONVERGE attendee list from outside vendors or companies. These emails are not coming from NADP nor are the companies emailing associated with NADP. They are scams.

The attendee list is free to all CONVERGE attendees. Click here on how to download. You must be logged in.

This is an ongoing issue faced by meeting organizers worldwide on an annual basis. We encourage you to respond to these solicitations with a demand that you and your company be taken off their email list immediately. If the emails continue, the Federal Trade Commission advises that you forward unwanted or deceptive messages to the Federal Trade Commission at spam@uce.gov and file a complaint with the FTC.

Click here to file a complaint.

You can also send the scam emails to your company's IT dept. At the top of the message, state that you're complaining about being spammed. Some email services have buttons that allow you to mark messages as junk mail or report them spam.  If you can determine the sender's email provider, you can report the spam to them as well. Most web mail providers and ISPs want to cut off spammers who abuse their system. Make sure to include the entire spam email and say that you're complaining about spam.
